After growing up in the Walnut Grove/Willard area, I own a farm with my wife and 2 children. As a family, we actively serve in the community and our local church. Farm life has instilled in me a strong work ethic and a love for the land. With 20+ years of running a cow/calf operation I have a strong knowledge of grass land management, rotational grazing, and conservation practices. I am currently a Traffic Signal Supervisor for MoDOT. Prior to my career at MoDOT, I spent several years as an electrician wiring residential and commercial buildings. During this time, I gained a strong knowledge of the building process. I was born and raised in Michigan just minutes from Lake Huron and the St Clair River. I spent the seasons enjoying numerous outdoor activities, most involving water... from ice skating to sledding, freezing fingers attempting to catch fish on the frozen Anchor Bay, to the long-awaited summer for swimming, camping, fishing for walleye, boating and hiking.
My father influenced my love for nature and my Mother taught me about God and faith, which I might add, came in handy at times when I pushed those outdoor events to the limit!
I grew up in a time when life was simpler, enjoyed every moment of my childhood and made so many wonderful memories. I attempt to keep that perspective, sense of wonder and awe when I look around me at all the beauty gifted to us for our pleasure.
In my attempt to live the ultimate dream, I spend my days working (and I use that term loosely) in the ultimate office space, outside! Wandering over hills and through valleys, setting my feet down on the ground barely traveled, my pleasure and my job!

Growing up in rural Southwest Missouri, my wife and I have strong roots in this area. This is where we’ve chosen to call home and raise our family.
